After a lot of waiting I decided to take over the organization of the Unofficial Hockey World Cup from Demerzel. My name is Claudiu Baban, clopoyaur in Managerzone, NT Coach of Romania.

FINALS

No surprises in the semifinals, and Poland will meet Sweden in the grand final of the tournament. There's a known rivality between those two teams therefpre the match is promissing to be very exciting:

QUARTER FINALS

No surprises in the qurater finals! Or maybe the firsty defeat of Sweden, but the first match advantage was crucial. Here are the results:

POLAND ALMOST ELIMINATED

Netherland was just a few minutes away from making the big suprise as they led Poland 4-1 before the last half(the have lost the first game only 3-4). Poland came back in a fantastic way to score 3 goals ending in a draw! Italy made history reaching quarter finals for the first time in a big event! Despite a 1-2 loss at home, he made a extraordinary match at Berlin winning with an impressive 5-1! Here are the complete result of the Last 16 phase:

7 MATCHES RESCHEDULED IN "TACTICS PROBLEM"

Because of the well known "tactics problem" bug (tactics for national teams were reseted on friday, 4 August) all NT Coaches that asked for a replay of their match in Nations Cup will have that chance. The matches were rescheduled on 22 August. The original result (marked with grey in the results from each group) will be kept in the case that the match doesn't play at the new date. Here are the rescheduled matches:

WARNING ABOUT POSTPONED MATCHES

There are 2 available dates for matches to be played after the regular schedule provided by the organizers (22 and 25 August) reprezenting posponed matches. However, if a game does not play at that date, from various reasons, the team that requested initially the walkover (Brazil, Norway, Columbia, Sweden and Netherlands in the 1st Matchday and Norway in the 2nd Matchday) will win by walkover.

POSTPONED MATCHES

Because I would like that Nations Cup to be played on ice and not on walkover I decided to allow matches that didn't played on regular dates to be played on 22 and 25 August.

SWEDEN ALLOWED IN THE TOURNAMENT

20 NT Coaches have voted about late registered Sweden playing in the tournament. 11 chosed to allow Sweden to play in the Nations Cup and 9 were against. Therefore I decided to let Sweden participate. Because the drawing is already made and matches scheduled, Swedens was put in one of the last two groups (with 3 teams).

Still Sweden was late in the tournament and their group will be very though having 2 teams from pool 1, one from pool 2 and one form pool 3. Therefore, as organizer I decided to apply a penalty of 4 points in the group stage for Sweden. If Sweden qualifies, there will be no penalties for this team in the playoffs. I think it is a fair solution for both NT coaches who agreed letting Sweden in the Nations Cup and also NT Coaches who voted against.
